## How to apply

NIPR application submitted BEFORE the exam; the Department then issues an Authorization to Test for scheduling with Pearson VUE

## Notes

Kentucky reverses the usual order (apply first, then test) and uses a name-based criminal history report from the KY Administrative Office of the Courts instead of fingerprints; the report is valid for 60 days.
